The V2.0 module has a more even light distribution, superior LEDs, and greatly improved reflection, making this the brightest, most evenly lit backlight panel yet! A translucent removable protective film is also included to protect your module from damage before installation. Simply run the red wire to the resistor, and the black wire to where your power indicator LED was previously. See the
SMT tutorial for more info on installation.
NOTE: Please do not remove the front polarizing film from your LCD during the backlighting process unless you have a
new piece to replace it with. If you remove this film you will not be able to see the text on your LCD!

This kit includes the following:
1 - backlight module
1 - 2" x 2" square of polarized film
1 - length of shrink tubing
1 - 100ohm 1/4 watt resistor
Attention: GameBoy Colors cannot be backlit, only frontlit. We have heard that someone has been successful lighting a Color with parts from a DS, but we do not currently offer that service:)
